The theme of this conference is "Innovation-driven Technology, Promoting Efficient Exploration, and Contributing to Energy Transformation." The conference includes one main forum and six sub-forums. Dynaflow made a stunning appearance at the sub-forum on exploration big data and artificial intelligence application technology with its "Black Light Laboratory" series, showcasing the innovative application of AI and robotics in related experiments.

From August 22nd to 23rd, the "2024 China International Oil and Gas Exploration Technology Annual Conference and New Technology Achievements Exhibition" was held in Beijing. The theme of this year's conference is "Innovation-driven Technology, Promoting Efficient Exploration, and Promoting Energy Transformation." The conference includes one main forum and six sub-forums. Schlumberger showcased its impressive "Black Light Laboratory" series at the sub-forum on exploration big data and artificial intelligence application technology, demonstrating the innovative application of AI and robotics in relevant experiments.

The conference was jointly hosted by the China Petroleum Society, in collaboration with the China National Petroleum Corporation Oil and Gas and New Energy Division, China National Petroleum Corporation International Exploration and Development Co., Ltd., Sinopec Oilfield Exploration and Development Business Department, Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Development Co., Ltd., CNOOC Exploration and Development Department, and the Oil and Gas Resource Survey Center of the China Geological Survey. More than 800 experts and scholars from oil and gas energy companies, renowned universities, and research institutions in 18 countries worldwide attended the conference to discuss cutting-edge technologies, promote the transformation and application of innovative achievements, and inject strong impetus into the progress and industrial upgrading of the oil and gas exploration industry.

Gong Changhua, Vice President of Schlumberger, delivered a wonderful multimedia speech on the theme of "How AI + Robots Can Replace the Hands of Scientists." He conducted an in-depth analysis of the application examples and significant achievements of the "Black Light Laboratory" series of robots independently developed by Schlumberger in experiments. He detailed how robots can automatically complete a series of complex operations in experiments, such as sample processing and detection analysis. This effectively replaces manual work in repetitive, refined, high-risk, and replicable experimental processes. It greatly improves experimental efficiency and accuracy. This highly automated solution not only reduces the workload of researchers but also significantly reduces human error.

Schlumberger's participation in this exhibition showcased its innovative capabilities in scientific research services. In the future, Schlumberger will continue to uphold its corporate philosophy of "serving scientific research through innovation," actively responding to the national call, and contributing to the higher-quality development of the oil and gas exploration industry in China and globally.
