Red Dot Design Award Results Announced: Beijing Zhengze School, a project in which Dynaflow participated in the design, won the "2024 Red Dot Product Design Award" for its outstanding design concept, standing out from numerous entries worldwide.

Recently, the results of the German Red Dot Design Award were announced: Beijing Zhengze School, with design participation from Dynaflow, stood out from numerous global entries with its excellent design concept and won the "2024 Red Dot Product Design Award".

Beijing Zhengze School

The Ping'anli campus of Beijing Zhengze School was renovated from a paper mill dating back to the Republic of China period. The old city of Beijing has a high population density and is subject to volume restrictions due to urban planning. Old buildings in the old city usually cannot increase their building area or change their exterior outline. Therefore, maximizing the building area is crucial to meet diverse teaching needs.

Dynaflow led the design and implementation of the physics, chemistry, biology, and integrated laboratories. Leveraging years of experience in scientific research laboratory construction, we approached the project from a professional perspective, fully considering the scale of the student experimental space. We created laboratories that meet diverse needs, including individual and team work, presentations and experiments, safety and health, and smart connectivity. Our goal is to ensure students have a positive experience in every lab class!

The overall laboratory design is based on existing spatial conditions. We used building materials and lighting design to create a conducive teaching atmosphere. We selected combinable experimental facilities based on adolescent ergonomics, combined with professional experimental functional modules, instruments, furniture, and ventilation design, to create a bright, transparent, and nature-like professional laboratory space, allowing children to learn biology under natural light.
